Hara is the center of the human body, but the body is much more than a simple bio-physiological object. That is the reason why Hara is also the spiritual center, just as the body is the natural envelope of the spirit.  So the word Hara, separately or an expression, 
it always refers to the condition of man united as a whole,  to its fundamental form of being
as well as the specific spiritual qualities that our being depends, allowing this union to manifest itself in existence.
